Family

not all families have the luxury of being close, especially large families. varying in age, people have their own lives and tend to grow apart – only coming back together occasionally for holidays or reunions. I have had the great fortune of being blessed with a rather big family and the feat of staying close. we couldn’t be luckier! and I’m very excited to see most of them tonight in an early celebration of some of our birthday’s!

pictured above are the Motta grandchildren (my father’s side) and our grandparents. this photo is from Christmas Day, 2012. from left to right: Amy, Megan, me, Grandpa Motta, Grandma Motta, Steve (back), Jean (front, Jeff’s wife), Jeff, and Chris. we’re all grown now and making an effort to stay close as adults (instead of as a result of our parents being close).
